In response to the new Data Protection Regulations which come into force on 25th May 2019, St Kentigern’s is in the process of formulating a Data Protection Policy. This policy will demonstrate our compliance with the new regulations, and once it has been agreed, it will be displayed on this website and in church and will be available on request.

The annual chaos of Ballater Victoria Week is in full swing. As usual, St Kentigern’s has a scarecrow on display – Joseph and his wonderful coat. And he’s joined by 11 brothers, made by the pupils of Ballater Primary School. We’ve got prayer stations based on the story, tea and coffee and a secondhand book stall. Pop in and have some fun with us.

St Kentigern’s Summer Fayre – our big fundraiser of the year is fast approaching. And as usual we have the Queen’s Gift to raffle in aid of church funds.
HM the Queen has kindly donated a pair of ‘Imperial Russian’ Coffee Cups and Saucers to be raffled in aid of St K’s. Tickets are £1 each and will be drawn at our Summer Fayre on 18th July 2015. You can get them in Ballater from Rowan Jewellery, Antiques and Art in Bridge Street or from Ballater Library (thanks guys). Or feel free to message us for more details if you’d like.
These coffee cups are exclusive to the Royal Collection. The design of this English fine bone china range is inspired by the ‘guilloché’ enamelling and colours, characteristic to so much of Carl Fabergé’s work that can be found within the Royal Collection.

Ballater Victoria Week is in full swing at St Kentigern’s. Jadis the Witch has had her final hair-styling session by Barbara, Aslan the Lion is investigating the wardrobe, and our visitors have been adding stitches to the new kneeler, snowflakes to the peace wall, and lighting prayer candles, as well as entering our Christmas card design competition. Oh, and drinking lots of tea and coffee! (Oh, and in case you haven’t guessed – the theme is ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, from the Chronicles of Narnia)

We had a great time at the Fayre today, with lots of cakes, books, fun and laughter. Thank you to all those who supported this event in any way.
